Is it just me?....
Or just poor TV coverage.....it looked to me that a lot of the drivers/team members at the British GP showed little respect for the one minute's silence. Button seemed to be chatting away, and a lot of the others seemed like it was just a distraction they didn't want.
OK, so they are preparing to race at nearly 200mph, but surely they can spare 1 minute's selfless consideration of others?

You are quite right about that, I was not too impressed at that as well.
Maybe there was a reason such as they did not know it had started regardless of all the horns blowing. If that was it they must have been a bit slow off the mark.

the reason they were all talking was because the drivers were not informed about the minutes silence!

Some of the drivers clearly respected the silence, so I find that hard to believe.

I noticed Geoff Hoon was on the grid and was chatting during the minutes silence, i'd be very surprised if he did it deliberately since he's an MP and government minister. I did hear on TV that those on the grid weren't full aware of when it started/finished, so I imagine it was down to poor organistion/communication.
