Default E-Bay B**ST**D

Last week I won a Football Shirt on E-bay and immediately requested from the seller his name and address so that I could send him a cheque because his detail weren't available. All in all I sent him 5 messages requesting this information without any reply.

Then 2 days ago I noticed that the seller had re-advertised the item on E-Bay on a 1 day sale basis. I sent him another message asking why he had re-advertised the Item when it should have been sold to me? Guess what, No Reply!!!!!!!!

It ran its course on E-bay and was sold a second time for £5 so I then reported him to E-Bay and left negative feedback against his profile, but today, because of this hes left negative feedback for me saying that he sent me e-mails. Up to dealing with this carracter I had 100% feedback with some excellent comments but now i've got negative feedback through no fault of my own.

WHAT CAN BE DONE IF ANYTHING PLEASE TO RECTIFY THIS?

Report it to ebay along with the copies of the emails you sent him and ask him to provide his evidence that he really did email you.

Already reported him to E-bay but not heard anything back yet. Also the messges i sent to him were direct through E-bay and not e-mails as such so I've no proof.

In which case e-bay will have the records. You did check the "send me a copy" box didn't you?

I would be wary of people who don't reply. Just like the customer, be careful because ebay might give you negative feedback

respond to his bad feedback with your email address in the response, then email ebay asking for the email address to be removed, they have to remove the entire feedback entry for the item, but this also removes the bad feedback that you left him too.

Set up a new ebay account. Win another of his auctions. Have another go at getting his address and then send him a poo.

It's exactly this sort of behaviour we really need to see more of on e-bay to discourage some of the crooks on there.

Just won a car and the seller won't respond to any e-mails he reserved the right to sell else where but he could at least let me know what is going on. My feed back is zero so if I leave him negative it doesn't hurt but I would prefer the *** head to at least respond with 'I am selling else where.'

I bid a million pounds on every item an ebay idiot had for sale, after he did'nt send me the item I'd won off him,and then gave me negative feed back saying he had sent it twice, guess what he rang me up, I told him straight ,he cancelled the negative feedback (mutually) and the item turned up the next day!

You won't last long with language like that

I'm pretty sure you can leave feedback upto a maximum of 90 days after a purchase, so....put a sticky note on the side of your computer with the date and time of sale. Leave the neg feedback a min or so before the expirery time/date. They won't be able to do the same to you because it's out of time....

If you know how you can leave feedback whenever you wish.
If you read the OP you will see he has already left feedback anyway.

Kev- Ask for mutual feedback retraction if it bothers you.

I think mutual retraction is the only way - eBay will never get involved with feedback.

I had already responded to his feedback, so I can't leave any more comments. How do you go about mutual feedback retraction?
