Default Just received a fake paypal invoice!!!

Was looking through my mail for confirmation of a recent paypal transaction and I found what appeared to be an recepit from paypal telling me I'd just paid $1900 for some sort of ***** contraption.

Started to panic a bit so checked my PP account and its all OK. Looked again at the email and a few signs point to it being fake. I've forwarded it to paypal and asked them to confirm this has nothing to do with me.

Anyone else had this? Its very alarming.

Never had one from PayPal before, but had one a few weeks back from Ebay saying my account was susspended and to follow the given link, when you went to it it wanted all your account details entering. I logged on to Ebay and all seemed fine so I forwarded the mail to spoof@ebay which they confirmed it was a dodgy Email attempting to gain my details

Be aware peeps !!!

I get them all the time, both the ebay ones and recently a paypal spoof receipt. Good thing is though they're always in my yahoo account which I use for junk (like forums ) and isn't tied to any of my ebay/paypal etc accounts. Straight to the junk folder most of them go.

Never EVER follow spam or criminal spoof links. It simply confirms your address exists to the criminals & that you are gullible enough to follow the link. Your email address will have been made 10 times more valuable to the criminals.

If you do an ebay search with tah number; E bay have removed the product & advised customers not to do anything....

I too got one & whilst it was an interesting product 1900 for 8 inches was a lot.

A rampant roger with a full 8 inches was only £39.99 - Ann Summers

The fake invoice. For the extender. At least he claims it was fake. And for £1800 I'd want at least another four inches....
