Somebody makes an appointment to view a car you are selling. You spend a few hours preparing it, guess what? The **** doesn't turn up , or call to cancel viewing. ****Ing retard.

It's out of Order ScoobyNutta
I'm in the process of getting a new bike. To be honest I will part ex my current bike at the dealers - less hassle. I know I will get less for it but if I sell it privately the hassle might be too much.
It's common courtesy as well if I had booked to see your car, and I could'nt for whatever reason I would have called you straight away to make my apologies.
Cheers

You what? This happened in Majors Britain, Thatchers Britains, Heaths Britain etc..... Although I agree that general rudeness and letting people down is more apparent these days.

I hate to say it, but when I was selling my my99, the majority of the 'no show' offenders were people from Scoobynet
Including one guy who I arranged to meet 1/2 way (a 40 mile trip for me) to save the guy some travelling time
We'd exchanged plenty of e-mails and I'd taken and sent him detailed pics of particular bits of the car he wanted.....
He then chooses not to show and switchs off his mobile accordingly
Common decency/manners is a dying art

Agreed, good manners and common courtesy costs nothing:
I phoned the chap who I bought my scooby off to tell him that I might be late, as the train journey seemed to be going very slowly....or maybe it just seemed that way!!
