Useless cubby-hole thingy centre of dashboard - what do you put in yours?

Me - my sunglasses only - won't take much else

I would like to replace it with a 3 guage binacle but she won't have it

Any other suggestions?

Sunglasses in mine too - at least they don't rattle.

Exclamation

I used to put a horribly scored big end bearing in mine to remind me to check the oil

Petrol receipts, had thought about the three guage thing but after investigation found that you can't by gauges small enough.

Had thought about a nice bespoke turbo timer install. Been told its feasable with a nice piece of Carbon or brushed aluminum.

Yup, only usually the 'Shades go in mine...

However, the catch on it rattles...I'm going to have a go at fixing it with some felt around the lower part.

I fancied the three guage answer, but the housing alone costs enough...Let alone a fortune for each guage!!

I also keep my sunglasses in the centre cubby-hole (in their case, on a grippa-map to stop 'em rattling).

Does everyone else find that they get mega-hot in the summer - the metal frames are almost impossible to wear when you first get them out?

What a man keeps in his cubby hole is his own private buisness. It'd make your hair curl if I revealed what I kept in mine.

Remember Compo and his matchbox? There you go then

I agree! Too hot!

I also put parking tickets in there to forget about them (I hate stray bits of paper in the cabin ).
