Grand Designs tonight
What a disappointment this series is turning out to be. From RadioTimes:
"Repeat, Subtitled
7/8 - Huf Haus
Another chance to see the classic episode where Kevin McCloud meets a couple whose new house was designed and built in Germany, then driven to Surrey for assembly."
Not even a 'revisited', just a plain old repeat. Out of this series I can only think of one whole new house. The rest have been repeats and revisiteds....
Clearly they couldn't find enough people to do a 'proper' series.
Simon.

I love the Huf Hauses (not sure of German plurals!!). They are light, bright and I' definitely build one when I win the lottery.
Shame the series is proving a bit dull.

Repeats are bad enough; although I would guess the lack of new programmes is down to C4 being tight ***** rather than there being a lack of renovations or new builds to feature. What really bugs me are the ‘revisited’ type repeats where they try and pass it off as a new series, with each one featuring 50 minutes of the old programme and just 10 minutes of new material, it seems to be the norm now for Property ladder, Re(re) location and Grand Designs. Some of the Relocation ones have been on 4 times now in various guises!!
Should do better.

First time I'd seen it, wow what an amazing house.
Had a look on the web site but it seems they're a bit out of my league, over £400k for a four bed job, mind you that was everything, land, house, fixtures, fittings, appliances. House is valued at 1mil!
You'd want a pretty private bit of land with all that glass, that or no walking about nude
