Default B@stard Internet Phones!

I woke up this morning to find my phone had been connected to the internet for 10 HOURS overnight, when i had left it in my pocket and my keys had somehow became unlocked.

This is going to sting me massively. I dont suppose there is anything i can do in this situtation is there? Im with Orange.

Seriously tempted to get a flip-phone to stop this happening again

Very, very pi$$ed off.

Just spoke to Orange and the guy said that as long as i was only browsing and didnt actually download anything then i should be alright. I dont think i have as when i found it it was on the homepage.

Looks like i might have dodged the proverbial bullet, touch wood!

As far as I know you are charged for kilobytes downloaded, Depends on your plan of course but thats how they normally work. So if you've only been on the homepage you'll only be charged for downloading that page.

Thumbs up

Make sure you're on GPRS and then you are effectively connected to internet 24/7 but you only get charged for what you download ~£4 a MB I think on Orange unless you pay up front I think £4 per month for GPRS & then you get first 4MB covered. - I stopped using mine when freebie usage stopped 30th April...
