Serious Range Rover at Gumball 2005 ....
This is competing in the Gumball this year, it's the Top Gear / Clarkson 400+ bhp Overfinch job ... sounds like a laugh to me

Apparently it has Mumford active suspension (like on the Xantia Activa) which adjusts the cornering attitude so it doesn't roll. Must feel a little odd in a 2-ton brick

Lol, it's moving! Hope european/UK police don't see this!

I spoke to Mark Shaw, the bloke whose car it is, and he reckons it will hit 140 on unrestricted roads .... the problem apparently is the torque converter, it's touch and go if it's strong enough.
He finished in the top 40 last year out of 181 starters, nice guy.

According to their website, they're heading down to London for the premier of the DVD for last years Gumball which is tonight. Then all cars are on display tomorrow before the official start.
Tempted to 'Gumball' up my Type R, they sell the stickers on the website....
I'll deffo be following the progress of the rangie over the next few days though.
