Default Bloody timeshare scams

Just had some ******** ring me up from a Basildon number (01268 555095), reckoning that I filled in a shop questionairre for a free holiday on the 23rd April in Manchester and i've won a week for 2 within the next 18 months.

I just have to ring an 0871 number to get the prize. Now being a sceptic I just did a quick Google and found it references GVC timeshare holidays and have found similar story's from other folk who have actually lost loads of money on it.

I would normally dismiss them without searching, but heres the thing - I did enter a prize draw for a holiday on the 23rd April in Manchester Selfridges, so you have to wonder how they have managed to get that info

Bloody idiots, cant stand scammers.

1) Lucky guess
2) You didn't tick the "Please don't sell my details to every damn scammer going box"

Also remember that the tick boxes used to be that you had to tick them to avoid the spam, and were not long changed so that you didn't get spam UNLESS you ticked them - any chance you / they had the ticks the wrong way round?
