Question Motorola V600 Advice

I am looking at getting another phone and just wondered if anyone had one of these? How many messages do they hold etc? Any problems?

Thanks

My sister has one. I don't think she's had any problems with it. My gf had a V525 before the SE she has now and same again. no problems with it. It's not an all-singing/all-dancing phone but it's not bad.

V600 is old, I've had mine over a year I'm just looking for a new phone now.

problems -

Loose bits of 'trim' - the front bit of mine came off and never sat right again.

Lack of message storage, I expect theres been a software update since but mine only held 15 in the inbox and about 80 in the outbox.

Thats about it but those two were enough to rile me!

I'm sure you'll get a newer phone than that on the same deal.

I have got one of these at present, but looking to upgrade soon. Not because there is anything fundamentally wrong with the phone, I just fancy a change.

As far as storgage, have had 40 plus in outbox and 20 in inbox from memory before getting a warning about storage on texts. No problem for me, but I guess if you are sending lots it could be an issue.

Found the phone initially very good, but trim does come away a bit too easily, however in saying that I dont exactly use it with kid gloves, so what did I expect.

Overall a good phone in my view, and if you can pick it up reasonably cheap, it makes a nice change from a nokia.

Hope this helps

I would highly recommend it.
The storage isn't that big though.
I have upgraded to the V635 which stores an awful lot more (plus has an expandable memory)

Ah apologies, I wasn't thinking in terms of pay as you go.

I've got a mate with a V547, he got it on a contract and doesn't like it, he's selling it just now, looking for £110, comes with data cable and drivers on cd. It's only been used for a month, dunno if that would work out cheaper than buying a v600? it's a better phone from what i've seen.
