Lightbulb Clive Owen Vs Daniel Craig

To play the next Bond??

These 2 seem to be the front runners for the role. There have been contradicting stories regarding both of them.

Can anybody shed any factual light onto this situation????

Here you go
All bets are off about the new JAMES BOND - it looks like PIERCE BROSNAN will be back as the suave super spy after all.

According to Internet reports, SONY bosses want Brosnan to return as 007 in the next Bond film CASINO ROYAL, and they're keen for him to star in one more movie after that.

A source tells website DARKHORIZONS.COM, "All the stuff we heard about Brosnan being out is just a ploy from both camps. The negotiations between Brosnan and Eon (Bond production company) came to an end because, in the last year, things were up in the air, thanks to all the organisational changes taking place.

Thank you Olly.

As good as Brosnan was (questionable films though) I believe he has peaked and should call it a day, beginning to look a little old.

My opinions lye with 'Owen. I see 'Craig as a good actor, just not "Bond". He lacks a certain something necessary, lacks presence perhaps?

It's all been down hill since Sean stopped doing it IMHO.

I can't belive they are now doing an official Casino Royale after 2 non-official version. Hope it's a different plot.

Totally different movie hopefully!!!!

I liked Moore's relaxed wit and humour. Not the best "Bond" however his films are my favourite ones!!

Dalton was, imo, THE best charcterisation of Bond - shame he only had the opportunity to do 2 movies. Brosnan was a good all rounder but some of the films were the resultant of pathetic directing/producing. Die Another Day was the worst possible example of this. Matrix style camera effects, pathetic scenes!! Take it back to a bloke with a Walther PPK!!!!

In The Living Daylights and License To Kill he was as close to Fleming's Bond as any of them. A cold, nasty character. Suave yet a total callous b&stard who was clever, sophisticated and most importantly believable in the role.

Clive Owen gets my vote - Daniel Craig, as cool as he is - is no Bond!!
