what a nice moderator
I have been wearing oakleys for about 5 years or so. Everytime on holiday I generally have this conversation about 5 times:
Cheapskate: How on earth can you justify £300 on a pair of shades?
Me: Do you want to try them?
Cheapskate: Woooow these are brilliant, you can actually see clearly through them, no glare.............etc
Me: yup, you get what you pay for.
I have manged to convert most of my family to the need for good sunglasses, now they all want them for xmas/birthday presents

i bought sum sunglasses from ebay simply because i liked the shape and colour of them, they were sold as designer glasses
when they arrived they were made with plastic frames (titianiam it said on the advert, must have meant the colour ) felt really crap to hold, but still looked half decent
showed my mate and he told me they were oakley copies, exactly the same as them x-metal ones above but the lens is a flippy blue colour.
keep meaning to have a look at sum proper ones....

I have a set of half wires, non prescription, excellent light sturdy and understated, Some of the Oakleys are OTT. Also not ridiculously (sp) expensive.
So I like them!
