If you call the registry office in the town you got married you can get one within 3 days. If you visit you can collect it on the same day. Usually costs about a tenner

Did people miss the part you posted about getting married in St Lucia? So doubt you would be able to get a new one in 3 days etc.
I would expect that you both owned the certificate as you was married to each other? If you happen to lose something which you own or want to keep something you own until the split is decided at the decree absolute, I would tell her tough wait for the divorce and let her go off on one.
