Freeview / Topup TV
I have just bought myself a set top box and wondered what type of arial I needed to receive the channels. I have one at the moment which is a bit pants. Which arial do people recommend in order to receive all the channels - and where's the cheapest place to purchase?
Thanks,
Rik.

The ariel you need will depend on the area you are in. You need a digital ariel really (gives a better analogue signal as well). Look at the other ariels around you and that will give an indication of the type you may need. The grills to the rear may be horizontal or vertical depending on your area. You can pick up a high gain ariel from B&Q for about £20 and then another £20-30 for the fixings, or for about £100 you can get a specialist out fit a top of the range job, and set it all up for you.

Did you check your post code at topuptv web site to see if you can recieve it ?
Some area's are not covered
I would try it first before you look for a new arial just in case is fine

Digital Terrestrial Television: Predicted Reception for -- --- Can I get Digital Television through my aerial at this address?
Yes, all channels available
Aerials for digital TV reception must be in good condition
Where a replacement aerial is needed, the DTG recommends the use of CAI benchmarked aerials and downlead cables
If you receive your TV through a communal aerial system, please check with your landlord or managing agent.
