Aviator 5/10......bit of a yawn tbh,no way oscar material

The Terminal 7/10.....bit slushy but okay by me.

Wimbledon 6.5/10.......predictable,but watchable.

The Grudge 5.5/10...Rip off of the Ring, what was the story, anyone know?

Village 3/10 would have been zero but the twist was quite good.

Grudge 9.5/10 jumpiest film i've seen in ages and a proper storyline that isn't the usual american guff.

Oceans 12 -4/10 oh dear

The Aviator 7/10 Good story and well acted but a little long winded

Million Dollar Baby 9/10 Excellent story and acting

Saw 9.999/10 Brilliant thriller and a twist that puts mr shamalan to shame.

Constantine 7/10 Good but relies heavy on special fx

Team America 8/10 Very funny and scarily accurate and has the best sex scene ever

Meet The Fockers 7/10 Good but not as good as meet the parents.

Dont want to worry you all but I think you will find that most of these aren't Latest DVDs.
If I were you I would go back and question the shop you bought them from.

Nope. In the USA they've started prosecuting home users who are participating in the file sharing networks (edonkey, bit torrent etc) and downloading movies or mp3s. They're looking to start doing it in Europe as well, forcing isps to reveal the addresses of people taking part etc. About time too imo...

There are other ways to track the downloads other than through file sharing. The fact that you're admitting that you do it, on one of the larger public bulletin boards on the net, probably isn't very wise either....

I never said i did it,you just assume i have from getting discs for 30p and paying for broadband.
I was just saying there are ways of getting new films on dvd other than popping down the shop.
People at work that know what they are doing and don't mind doing extra copies if you give them a disc.
No sale going on just a borrowing of digital files on a hard copy, isn't it all just 1's and 0's???

wouldn't know mate.

I just feel that the thread should have perhaps been called "**Latest film reviews post here**"
I have a laugh now and again that people seem to want to tell everyone that they watched for eg. Star Wars III* lastnight ..................in bed.
Are we meant to be impressed that they are able to go to a website and download these films and watch them ? Millions of others are able to do it too so dont get too excited or expect a round of applause folks.
Just so everyone knows though... I watched Closer in the bath lastnight

* Yes I know Star Wars III isnt avalible yet

Not having a go. Just an observation.

Not really a rip off,was more like a remake by the original director in English.

Might be a rip-off, but it's the same director. I actually thought the remake was quite good, and not as disjointed as the original.

i did hear with some of these lastest japanese/chinese films they have reedited out some of the cultural story line because the western world would quote 'find it too confusing' quote
