Prezzie for the wife?
For eight days' time.
I looked on girlstuff.com and a few other places, but wasn't impressed.
She's (cough) mid-30s, likes oriental stuff (Tibetan / Buddhist), and art/craft things - into sewing and cross-stitching at present. I looked around for oriental jewellery, most of it seems to be of a style I don't like, or is novelty crap sold to new-agers who have short haircuts and dangly earrings and piercings.
Price no real issue - she was as happy with a 20-quid pendant as she was with 300-quid diamond earrings.
Anyone any suggestions of interesting online places?

How about one of the Dalia lama's books? Many about featuring peace, meditation etc. and some candles to go with and maybe some incense sticks.

What about an oriental themed cross stitch kit, try www.sewandso.co.uk they have quite a big selection. Click on the cross stitch tab and then type in far east in the search engine.

There I was about to type "oh, and no sexy stuff", but she walked through the door so I had to hit the "post" button. Then the PC throws a sulk for the rest of the evening. Get back this morning and what do I find? SN at it's finest...
