Think I have spotted a bargin on E-bay....
But I am not sure about it...
The seller has no feed back, the item is confusingly listed, it has 2 days left and has no bids at all.
The first bid is at £50, and there is no mention of a reserve, yet in the text it mentions, they are willing to sell for £240 + p&p.
If I bid at £50 quid and no one else bids/there is no reserve, do they have to sell it to me?
I am a bit of an E-bay novice myself, and don't want to fall into a trap, but to me it looks like a complete bargin?
It is also listed as a factory second, and there is no mention of it actually working although it is described as in new condition?????

The starting bid is £50 but they say they will sell them for £240 plus p+p.If you win at £50 its unlikely they will sell for that as they state the price is £240.As they have no feedback i guess its inexperience that they never put a reserve price on.In theory its yours, but you cant force then to sell you it.
Even at £240 it still better than £615 at Amazon, though it is a factory second. The bit i dont like is no feedback,no bids and they say they are arriving from Austalia soon.
If it was me i'd ask a lot of questions first and then ONLY buy it if i could collect it in person/inspect it.Personally i'd be cautious.

Well I asked a few questions and severly shot myself in the foot. They assumed they had put a reserve price on it, but hadn't. (They now have!!!)
The factory second means it was an ex-display. I.e. It had been in the shop window for the last 12 months or so and has been handled by people looking at it...
At £50 quid it would have been a real bargin, but am not really tempted to spend £240 on it...

Do they have to sell it to you? Well yes they should but if it went too low they could always make up some lame excuse. Happened to me before xmas picked up a brand new tumble dryer for £70 which was cheap as chips, the guy then said he had sold ours but not to worry was getting another and because he had messed us around would deliver foc, then made up some **** and bull about how he damaged it whilst packing.
Bottom line is it obviously went too cheap and he didnt want to let it go, ebay's response was the typical one, shrugs shoulders walks away and doesnt give a f**k!
Go for it, what have you got to lose?

Yep that is the item...
And it is not just me that thinks it looks suspect. At £50 it was worth the risk, but knowing the reserve is now set at £240 makes it more money that I would wish to lose...

I have googled the Hotmail address and it comes up with a web page related to the hotmail address, but this leads to a dead link...
Have e-mailed seller through E-bay again with more questions

I bid for something on Sunday with £1 starting price and a buy it now of £30
I won the auction as I was the only bidder for £1.
Now I`m not really sure that I want this item because I may never need it, so what what should I do take it of him for a £ or leave him reauction, Btw I haven`t heard from him yet. Thing is it`s £5.95 postage I would probably pass where he lives on my travels with work.
