Taking my g/f away the weekend before valentines as we will both be working valentines day and she has hinted she wants to go away somewhere and i know she wants to see the city of york. so I think I have found a nice hotel for the sat night the ROYAL YORK Hotel, its a 4 star and looks impressive and romantic. could anyone give me suggestions where a good place to eat will be on the sat night and what sites to see over the course of sat and sunday? theres york minister, viking musuem, city walls of course. ( we both love historic things)

edit: regarding the hotel jsut found ALDWARK MANOR which is in a manor and has the 4 poster style bed. need to make this a really romantic break. any suggestions will be good!
