He hasn't got any left John - he's blown them all up. Incidently Chaos - check your hosting - don't think they're too happy about you linking to them! I will remove the thread if it doesn't change, as the message displayed is hardly subtle!

When I were a lad I found a set of encyclopedias printed in the late 1930's; they told you everything that you needed to know about making explosives. I worked my way through all of the different gunpowder permutations and then I started on the more exotic mixes. My favourite was a 50/50 mixture of sodium chlorate and sugar; after a few false starts I realised that icing sugar was best, and it lit from a naked flame..... I only mananged one perfect mix (which left a 18" deep 3' wide crater and stampeded next doors horses) before I ran out of weedkiller. Fortunately/unfortunately the new weedkiller had an anti-oxidant in it to stop just this very thing and I made a few incendiary flares with it before I realised...
I was going to try gas oil and fertiliser next. I had a detonator made out of a 9v battery, fuse wire and a shotgun cartridge too; along with a 20' command line (ran out of wire); its probably better that I stopped.....

He Shoots.......... HE SCORES !
Sodium Chlorate weedkiller has had an anti-oxidant in it which prevents it from exploding for at least 20 years and even ITN/BBC news reporters have said 'fertiliser and diesel' so Im hardly sharing any secrets with him. A word of warning though; when making a pipe bomb always smear the threads with vaseline; apprently its very easy to blow your hands off by igniting powder spilt onto the threads when you tighten the lid.....
