Conifer dispute
Our neighbours behind us, want to cut down the conifers in their garden. This means we'll be able to see into ouch others' houses. Can we actually stop them, seeing as the conifers are on their land? I'm guessing not.

not a lot you can do as they are not your tree's, not on your property, unless they are a rare species or of certain merit you will not get a preservation order.
they will have to replace it with a solid fence of regulatory height with the nice side facing you. if you want more privacy offer to pay for additional trellis ontop of the fence and grow some plants up it, my back fence is 9 foot high 6foot fence 3 foot trellis, couple of years will be all clematis and chilli plants.

Yes. They even started to do so to reduce the height. Wow, was I annoyed.
Steve.
