Ideas for part-time working from home
Hi. Wonder if the scoobynet font of knowledge can help me.
I am looking for a part-time business which I can run from home which could make me a few hundred quid a month. I don't have too many overheads, but need to earn a bit to keep my car on the road.
I need some serious ideas. I am fairly computer literate, am able to talk to people on the phone in a sales manner, am creative and would be open to Ebay suggestions.
Anyone got any good ideas or know of anyone doing well? Not interested in Amway/Kleeneeze etc......
Thanks in advance.

I am a girl, but what does that matter? I don't want to work evenings otherwise I will never get to see my family!
I am thinking of the childcare thing, but it takes a while to get qualified. Plus I have to put up with kids all day long!!
Who wants their ironing done?
Any other ideas?

I think everyone would love a little scheme that made a few hundred part time each month!
Ebay is the obvious one, but theres just so many people doing it now. Couple of years ago I used to import stuff to sell on Ebay, but now its just not worth the bother now really as theres so many sellers on there now, its hard to get a decent price for the stuff. I suspect a lot of people are buying stuff, claiming the vat back through their company, but then selling it on Ebay. Bit naughty, but good way to make some profit.
Some cash-in-hand jobs at the weekend is good if you know a few people. Old grannies dont want to change a light bulb, so you pop round and do it for a tenner sort of thing.

As a matter of interest why are you not interested in Kleeneze etc? My wife does that part time and makes several hundred pounds per month working only Fridays and Mondays. Its simple to do and profitable. I know there are many "experts" on here that will tell you the reasons why it doesn't work but we have tried it and it does. You put the hours in and you earn the money, couldn't be simpler really.

Don't you have to pay an outlay for Kleeneze? We already get a catalogue round our way anyway. I have never bought out of it.
Isn't there anything which can be done from a PC? I was looking at shoe/clothes wholesalers buying in stock and selling on Ebay or going to charity shops/car boots/jumble sales etc.
Does anyone work for a wholesaler? Please let me know if you do.
