With all due respect I personally feel uncomfortable donating to a "random" nochex account posted on a bbs.

I'm sure the intentions of all in the linked threads are nothing but good but equally I'm sure there may be some on the big bad internet who wouldnt have the purest of intentions.

Perhaps more importantly if the money is donated directly charities can reclaim tax from the donation equal to 28p per £1 donated.

I personally have donated via the oxfam web-site.
