Handel's Messiah
On Classic FM as I peruse SN. Thing is I can't get my head round how Handel conceived and wrote this. You don't have to be religious for it to move you. Awesome.

I'm not religious but I agree that it's one of the best things he wrote. I've played / performed it many times (usually as the lead cellist in the orchestra) and enjoy the experience almost every time (depending on the quality of the choir 
). There's some good tunes in there
