Handel's Messiah
 

On Classic FM as I peruse SN. Thing is I can't get my head round how Handel conceived and wrote this. You don't have to be religious for it to move you. Awesome.

I'm not religious but I agree that it's one of the best things he wrote. I've played / performed it many times (usually as the lead cellist in the orchestra) and enjoy the experience almost every time (depending on the quality of the choir ;)). There's some good tunes in there :)...
