Was always sceptical of stuff like this but I've seen it in action and it works.
Remove the phone line from the wall that leads to the digibox, and you have to connect 2 of the wires (can't remember which) to either end of a PP3 battery and hey presto! Box Office is your new best friend...
Doesn't the digibox have its memory erased if it's unplugged for a while?

It was my understanding that all it does is stop the box talking to sky, but as they dont want you to miss out on pay-per-view etc you can order it without billing. Box has £50 limit or so. When it does talk again to sky (which it will need to) you shall be billed for everything you have used.

Applying a 9v current accross the correct telephone wires doesnt allow you to watch pay per view programmes for free. What it will do is cause your sky decoder box to store the 'used credit' on your smart card, as it believes that Skys number is engaged. I think that theres a limit of about £50 so when thats reached; no more 'free' premium events until you pay, and the card wont forget either.
