VHS to DVD transfer,any decent companies out there?

Default VHS to DVD transfer,any decent companies out there?

Anyone recommend a company to transfer 11 hours of vhs to dvd.Doing a quick search online its not cheap.
Also what sort of quality can you expect?

You can buy a DVD recorder for as little as £120 now. A scart cable between your video and the recorder - job done.

Hi there, assuming it is not Macrovision or such encripted it might be worth getting yourself a DVD recorder and doing it yourself.
Recorders now around £ 200.00 + the disks you should onlu need 2-3 dependant on the quality you record at.

I have a dvd recorder already,is it that easy?
(except i've just given away my vcr)

Is it a standalone DVD recorder or one in your PC?

Yes, just conncet the two together, as i satated as long as it is not encripted you should be OK.

I can digitally remaster, clean up, split the sound into 5.1, cut and split it into scenes with menu's if you like...

Paul,a couple of hours of it is a program on cable tv that my brother is in that i bought from the production company,but they only had it on VHS,will that be encrypted you think?
