Question Is open Government a good thing??

I think, due to the nature of "people" that government should limit how much it shares with the population.....imo of course.

Discuss....

I'm pretty certain there is life out there in some form or other, however, I don't belive that it has visited this planet.

I was accused of being a troll!!

Speak your mind makes you a troll.

Conforming makes you a liar.

I'll say this, we may not see eye to eye but atleast we both have the conviction in our own beliefs to stand up for them.

I prefer that than someone who agrees with me without reason.

I'm quite happy to take an opposing view (that I don't hold) and just play devil's advocate, it passes the time on a quiet afternoon

Since the word politician is now synonymous with liar, how can we believe what they might tell us anyway.

I do think however that a lot more real honesty would be a big advantage from everyone's point of view. If they feel they cant say anything about certain matters then just say so and that is is for operational reasons. Ruling a country should not be a reason for leading us all up the garden path!
