So, honestly, who has driven with foglights on in some sort of "posing" way??
I used to, when I first drove. My first car had fog lamps and they were ON, sidelights and foglights. Rude boy!!
I don't now - but come on, who has??

I'll be completely honest and say yes I used them once for no apparent reason other than to impress on the public that my car has big lights on the front to make it look similar to its rally cousin.
However, it was only once and tbh the fog lights are pretty rubbish anyway even in fog so they may as well be used at some point. There is one chap locally who appears to have wired his direct to the ignition so they are permanently on but he also sticks his elbow out the window - nuff said.

Front fogs on a scooby are bright enough to light up a small town though aren't they!!
My AX GT (first car). The front fogs would ONLY turn on with the headlights on full beam!! So, I paid an auto-electrician 30 mins labour to enable me to use them at any time. Cost of £20!! lol

Never done it in posing way. only time I've driven with fogs on and it's not been foggy was on IOW when my headlights gave out, had no other lights apart from main beam, so had to use foggies to see when not on main beam.

When I had my MR2 (Mk 2) I used to pop the fogs (yellow and very dim) on when it was just getting dusky if I was on the motorway. There's some serious economy issues about pop-up headlights. That was my excuse anyway, the pop-ups would turn an aerodynamic car into something sleek with a pair of parachutes on the bonnet. Must have saved all of a quid somewhere along the line.

I have used them out of their proper context. What I used to find was they lit the verge of the road far better than the headlights (also switched on) when driving on narrow lanes through the woods (Burnham Beeches). It gave me an edge in avoiding crap holes, depressions, mud and whatever at the verge. Used to turn them off when I hit civilisation. Those cars (Astras) had fogs (front and rear) that wouldn't remain on next time you used the car.
I can't offend at the moment as I don't have fogs. Both cars have driving lights.

Used to in my yoof, for about a year 'til I grew up. Occaisionally pop them on when on unlit Dales routes to light the soft verges a little, but ideally I want to change them for DL's.

All the time.
In my Subaru, Peugeot, and Cherry.
PS. The Cherry didnt come with them, so I fitted some RING ones and tilted them up a bit.
No Im not joking, I have them on all the time, along with my blue sidelights. of course.

I never had a posh enough car when I was younger to enable me to put fog lights on anyway. Thought that was the really bright red thing on the back - only one side mind.....

I only do it when the codger in front has his rear fogs on unnecessarilly.
Very rarely you get one who actually uses his rear view mirror and gets the hint, usually I just overtake then flash my rear fog a few times, I have no idea if this gives them the hint or not.

I see the bait, it looks tasty. However i also see the line so I won't be taking it.
P.S. Fog lights on is not "chav" at all. Stop using chav in its wrong sense - it's ruining a great word.
I don't own a scooby so no, deffo not a Chav. A 15yr old car makes me "anti-chav".
