Which mobile to upgrade to??
My contract is nearing upgrade time again and I'm usure which phone to choose. Ideally I'd like a phone packed with gadgets.
The motorolla V3 ?
Any sugestions welcomed.

agreed. The SL55 was cr@p. However, the S55, was a wicked phone - IIRC, it was the first mobile with a flash for the camera.
Kinda wish I'd never sold it for T610 (now THIS is a sh1te phone).
But the Siemens SL are pretty rubbish (can't confirm about the SL65 - not tried it yet!)

Is battery life any good on the S65 or 6230? They just seem to make up the figures they quote in my experience. I've been told you'd be lucky to get 2 days from a K700i for example. I realise you get loads more features nowadays, but my trusty Philips C12 gave 10 days life with average use back in the day; why can none of the latest phones come close to this, despite quoting that they can?

I'm not an expert - it's my first 'modern' mobile. But I am very pleased with it! - Mainly the size - is very small to carry round without being noticeable.

Mick - I've had mine since February this year. Already, one's been replaced under warrantee for a fcuked screen.
This current one, the navi-joystick is sooooo slow. As are the OK buttons. You think you've pressed to get into the text; nothing happens. You press it again; nothing. Then you press something else; the text page comes up, along with any subsequent button presses
The software is just useless and slow - and it's not me being impatient. I'm not the only user who's had these problems. They all occur after a few months of use.
Will be glad to get shot of it - not even going to bother putting it on Ebay - straight in the bin!!!
The S65 - not sure about the battery life - if it's anything like the S55 (non-slide phone), it will be pretty good. It was the SL55 that was cr@p

I'm looking at the V3 myself - but can I find a good deal? Nope.
Bloody Carphone Warehouse want to charge me £250 to UPGRADE to it, but I can get as good a tarriff through O2 (who I am ALREADY with!) and get it for £150!!!
Where the heck is the sense in that?
