I thought that was just for the free texts? I really just wanted one or two when I have people visiting from abroad and I wish to give them a phone. So just a working number would be fine.

it is a minimum top up of £10 every month to get the free texts but if your not interested in the texts then it doesnt matter. If you dont top up the sim card then it doesnt matter but nexxt time you top up after not using it for a long period of time then that becomes the new dat of your texts if that makes sense?

hmmm, domain is owned by and hosted by Dare Digital (http://www.daredigital.com) and not O2. Dare Digital appear to be an ad agency, who could be running this on behalf of O2.

No mention of this promo appears on the O2 site and when you shop for an O2 PAYG SIM it comes up at £9.99 if you don't need a handset.

Also, page linked doesn't use SSL. I've emailed O2 to see if this is legit.

it is legit, i emailed them too, to ask if i could have more than 4 *this was a few months ago* i got 12 in total, and ive just ordered another set of 16, apparantly they say limit is 4 per household, however they dont check.
