WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN THIS SITUATION
right here goes the latest installment in stevie buys a car.........
i ordered my new car yesterday and the salesmen drew up the paperwork. We signed for 16,500 but he maintains the extras come to 16750
i have a signed contract for 16500. He did say earlier in the day that it was 16750 but has obviously made a mess up somewhere.
No money has changed hands ie no deposit and i really want the car. It is cheaper really than anywhere else.
What do i do?

you signed an agreement for 16500.... can the dealer pull out? if not then pay your 16500 and walk away with the car... but u mentioned extras???? maybe the 16500 was the base price? or do the extras come in the contract? if u want the extras then you'll have to pay the 250 for them maybe?

Just pay for what you get. No point kicking up if you're wrong just to save a few quid. They'll poo in your coolant, wee-wee in your glove box and when they service your car they'll use Wilkinson's own brand of oil.
Not worth making enemies or legal hassles for a few quid.

A wise man once said, They'll poo in your coolant, wee-wee in your glove box take these words of wisdom and go ponder on them

lol. It's just a comment that for the sake of a few quid, even if they have made a mistake.....you pay for what you get. If you get it cheaper than it should be then great but don't kick up a stink if you EXPECT to get a discount cos of a basic human error.
FFS, he'll be suing (sueing??) them next!!!!

Sounds like he made a simple mistake, he'd earlier told you the correct price but when it came to filling out the order form he got it wrong.
If it was a genuine mistake rather than you being intentionally mis-led i would say accept the correct price and dont make an issue out of it.
This guy has a boss who may well kick his **** if you pursue it. Do the "right" thing. Whatever that may be and think about the 'law of karma"
