I dunno - I refuse point blank to pay for TV with ads in, so I think it's a good thing.

I have a dish anyway because the previous owners of my house had Sky, so £150 to get digital quality, widescreen versions of the terrestrial channels is quite attractive to me as a one-off upgrade fee. There's enough on them that I don't need any more channels anyway.

My house already had a dish Andy, so I picked up a second hand Sky box on here. Even with an expired viewing card, I still get BBC1 etc. Cost me £30.
