Nottingham Rock City - Secure Parking?
Can anyone recommend somewhere safe to park the Scoob while I go to a gig on a week night, will be 7.30 - 11.30 ish.

Ben, stay in the secure underground carpark next door (on Talbot Street itself). We park there all the time, normally next to porsches and lotus' Wouldn't recommend the multi-story opposite RC, quite well known for the odd car break in.
The underground one is down the small road right before RC on the left. There's normally a sign indicating spaces or not. Has security cameras, guards and is 50p an hour after 6pm. Shuts at 1am so you should be fine.

I have been going to Rock City for the last 10 odd years and have always parked opposite and never had any problems and I've had nickable cars when doing it.
It also amuses me that the ticket machine breaks quite often which means we have to wander down into the reception of the very posh hotel in my mosh gear getting funny looks from the people still in the bar

Agreed by far the safest car park around RC, but it does shut at 1am - 6am and there is no way in...!
The hotel i work at is on Wollaton street ( 1 min from RC ) and we use the talbot street car park for our guests and havent had one problem in 5 years.
I can give you a discounted ticket which will cost you £2.00 from 5pm upto 9 am in the morning.
if you need a cheaper hotel room or a voucher let me no.....

Tablot St CP closes i think at about midnight....
you'd be better at Trinity Square car park....2mins walk away... and its patrolled all night and open all night.
