Default good shopping centers

Would like to do all my xmas shoppin in one go if possible, can anyone recommend any good shoppin centres within a 2-3 hour drive from essex area(not lakeside or bluewater, gf wants a change!) If its near a decent town would be a bonus as would look at stayin the night at hotel/trvel inn.

What about Meadowhall, in Sheffield? I don't know how long it would take you from Essex, but it's a fabulous shopping centre. It's got everthing you could possibly need, and it's a really nice day out too

Exclamation

Meadowhall is the same as all the others,Next,M+S,House of Fraser,Goldsmiths,Macdonalds, etc, etc.Dont go to the Trafford centre, its rubbish.I'd recommend Manchester or Leeds city centre, although its quite a way from Essex.

What about B'mingham city centre, just been redeveloped and has a new Selfridges store.

Well, I am sorry. I was just giving my opinion, as had been asked. The difference between shopping centres is the level of facilities that they contain. & personally, out of all the large shopping centres that I have frequented, I prefer Meadowhall. Also, believe it or not, I would expect them to have the same (or similar) shops too.
