Question Paternity pay?

Not sure what a husband is entitled to, I know that I can get 2 weeks leave for sure but at what level of pay is unclear. This doc http://community.netdoktor.com/ccs/u..._article_15117 says something about SPP so is this the max (instead of full pay) or as well as full pay?

My work gives me 1 week full pay and after that another week at SSP which is ard £100. After that you can take loads of unpaid.
I didn't bother with any of it as I cn make lots more than basic salary every week...and it all get boring by the third sprog LOL

In other words basic is 2 weeks at £100 a week, but some employers are more generous than SSP.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought SSP was £64.35 per week.

It went up after I took my paternity leave to £110 (I think), definately more than £100 now.

Mate you just need to use up annual leave - the notion of being able to pay the mortgage on £100 a week paternity is ludicrous.

I did a deal based on 2 weeks off for a week annual leave deduction. I promised to stay on top of important things for the 2 weeks - few calls and mails from home etc. Worked a treat!

Looks like I'll have to take leave as my company does nothing for the fathers but as usual the mothers get 2 years off on full pay or what ever
