Watched in on Saturday, not in the same league as Lock Stock imho
Was dissapointed the blonde bird wasn't in it much though! I thought she got commended on her acting it it but she only says one or two lines!

Maybe it's just me, but the only comparison that I have heard drawn between LSTSB/****** and Layer Cake, is that the Director of Layer Cake was the producer of Lock Stock.
To me - that's only a coincidence, not trying to make the third film in a trilogy or anything like that...

It's a British gangster film so comparisons are inevitable. Doesn't help the producer of ****** directed it either. Oh, and Jason Flemming's in all three too.
I saw it a few weeks ago and it's the first really good film i've seen this year (not including Shrek 2 of course ). It's not as tongue-in-cheek as Lock Stock or ******, some may even say it's less fun to watch although there's a good few sniggers available. On the whole i found the content of the film just soo much more than Mr Madonna's efforts. There's some good twists and i was actually captivated throughout the entire movie. I'll most likely see it again and the DVD is a surefire purchase.
Agreed, not enough Sienna.

Layer Cake is a different film to Lock Stock. Not played for laughs. Layer has a far more serious story too it. I thought it was very good. I went expecting serious story and drama and I got it. Expect Lock Stock and you will be dissapointed.
