Question Camcorders?

Can you hire them? I want one so i can have some footage of my baby when he gets here (not his literal arrival ) but i can't afford to buy a camcorder, so does anyone else know what other options are available apart from the 'can't do it' option?

Thanks

In my patch (West Sussex) there is a company called Reprovision in Horsham that hire out www.reprovision.co.uk For example a Sony Hi8 Cam is £30 per day or £90 per week plus VAT. Haven't used them and seems a bit pricey to me but I guess there are similar companies around. Try and save up for a cam (e-bay?) as you will want one for junior for more than the first few days! Or borrow one from a friend - they can hardly say no in the circumstances can they? Good luck. DL

Ooh Thanks

I'll speak to you-know-who about it. Unless he's read it on here?

Yeah, I'd advise against renting....friend has just bought a brand new Panasonic DV cam for under £300 - it is VERY small....and the footage is great.

If you want footage of it as a baby, you'll surely want to take footage as the baby grows....

Even if you don't, buy it for £300, and sell it for £200-250 on Ebay after you've used it!

Hello

If Mr. Knowles isn't around, you can also borrow mine if you wish.

Make sure you wipe the blood off afterwards though ...

Steve.
