Hey, cool - but I've got a better idea. I'll buy the shirt off your back, send you a cheque for £1000, and you send me the shirt plus £750 cash - OK? That's £250 for a shirt...

Question

You open up a new account and wait for the money to come into it - whats risky about that?

They would have no access to your other accounts (especially as you open a new account in another bank)

I think I'll give it a whirl, what could I lose?

Probably everything.

There are probably no goods or customers. They pay you with funny money - stolen CC's etc - it looks like cleared funds in your account, so you send it on.

Then 2 months later, your bank discovers that the source of the money was fraudulent and demand it back from you.

...but of course you haven't got it, but they'll pursue you, not the scammers that you sent it to

Nice professional english description on the front page, but it all goes a bit Pete Tong with the link at the bottom and the form that follows.

On the other hand, why don't you try it out on behalf of all of us on SNet

Is it just me or can anyone else see that as a Pink Floyd album cover?
