Default The World's Strongest Boy

Just seen trailers of this on Channel 5. Nearly threw up. Here's the speel from the Channel 5 website.....

The World's Strongest Boy
Time - 21:00 - 22:00
When - Monday 27th September on five

"Documentary following eleven-year-old Richard Sandrak, who since the age of six has been described as the strongest human being in the world, pound for pound. With a personal entourage including an agent, a personal trainer and an acting coach, his dreams of becoming a Hollywood action hero look to be within reach. But how could a child have possibly developed such a physique and what sacrifices did he make to do so?"

American's scare the ****e out of me sometimes.

His childhood, for one. His parents ought to be ashamed of themselves imo.

If that's his dream, he certainly won't be the strongest pound-for-pound when he's an out of work actor at 35 with a beer gut the size of a space hopper...

I don't understand the American social services system for children. There is something desperately wrong with this boy's parents. If he were here, his parents would be banged up in some mental institute.

yeah I agree. Hardly the biggest child issue going.

OH MY GOD THEY'VE MADE HIM SUPER FIT AND NO DOUBT HAVE HIM ON A STRICT HEALTHY DIET!!!!!!

It's freaky but it's hardly child abuse.

he may be a child but it seems hes doing something he loves, its no different to seeing 6 years olds at the motocross track blasting round (faster than i could)
when your a kid and you enjoy something why not encourage them?

lets wait 1hr, watch the show and then comment!

at this point my opinion is that it is as unhealthy as a thousand other things kids can do.......BUT, if he survives to adulthood then he is likley to earn a large amonut of money doing what he seems to love....not many kids grow up to make a living from being a lardarse.

Thumbs down

jesus christ!
sure milo will agree- but that kid's form in the gym looks bloody shocking!!!!!
full lockout on 540lb leg press!!!!!? NUTS
personal trainer wants shooting!
the boy's knees will surely be SHOT by the time he's 25... ?

I love the gym as much as anyone, but I did too much damage to myself at 15/16 in the gym pushing weights that the big guys in the gym were doing..
let alone 8/9 !!!!
all it did was giveme muscles- but unknowingly at the time- fubar'd my joints and ligaments in the ankles and knees.
I cant even manage a 5aside footy game without severe pain so bad i cant walk

yeah, but aren't they billing him as the strongest person 'pound for pound'? don't spose the weighs alot, so they're probably not to far wrong?

say what you want, it's the internet

One thing that always put me off bodybuiding - the drugs you need to take to be a muscleman are scientifically proven to make your pecker smaller. apparently
