we're only being open about it because its not illegal to use anabolic steroids in england. and we both currently live in england yet another reason why i love it here

yes i have had some negative effects, but all have been reversable.

the negative sides ive had... night sweats, mild acne, testicular shrinkage and thats about it. all of which were temporary. all of which were worth it. i get my blood levels fully checked including liver profiles every 3 months.. and all results have always been fine.

what you also have to remember is that i live a *very* clean lifestyle aside from this. i *never* take in alcohol, never smoke, never eat ANY food that's bad for me ever etc etc. it is very much proven that alcohol, even in small doses, is far more liver toxic than even the most liver toxic steroids. i also very rarely use oral steroids (which are the liver toxic ones), and stick to injectables. i also run correct pct between cycles. the point is to *use* anabolic steroids.. not *abuse* them (which is when people start getting seriously bad permanent sides, especially when they mix steroids with alcohol and recreational drugs).

my intention is to continue cycling pretty heavily until i want to have kids, at which point i will come off to have them (not that theres any evidence to suggest that you cant conceive while being on anabolics, but it's a precaution just in case). once i've had kids, i intend to stop cycling and just stay on steroids for life. that would be around the time id also seriously consider turning pro as a bodybuilder or powerlifter (you have pretty much no choice but to stay on permanently if you want to do this). my expectation is that i will annihilate my natural test production doing this, and once i have finished with all of this (i cant see that ever happening), i accept that i will have to go on hrt for the rest of my life. not that im saying other people should do this too of course

Thanks for the very candid answer! For others reading this my question was purely subjective, I have no agenda either way, I am just genuinely interested.

Not quite, because your hormone levels will be unaffected, unless the surgeon snipped a bit more than planned!

Its a good point what Milo said about his liver being underworked relative to the rest of us though... Interestingly I always assumed my liver and kidneys would be "below par" for my age due to 10 years of *ahem* relatively high alcohol consumption, yet when I had a blood test recently the indicated function was abnormally high!

I have actually been more ill since cutting down than I ever was when I was "on one" and I suspect the same could be true for prolonged steroid use, not least because of the obvious consequences to natural testosterone production, but also because I personally believe that organ function can be more sensitive to extreme changes in load than it is to extremes in load.

i also did steroids in relativley low levels for a few years with no side effects other than being a bit stroppy (but then i was training hard so maybe that pissed me off?)

even on low amounts i put on muscle easily which at 6'6 is hard to do and have a significant visual impact because of the long limbs (my arms were very large but looked the same as the short stocky guys until i started to use)

i also was able to row 2k in sub 6 without breaking a sweat and concived my first child so no harm there- that was the point i stopped as i realised my kid wouldnt care about my anterior delt but would like a decent school/house/etc......so i quit and got a proper job!

I havent read every post but: didnt anyone notice what the Golds Gym guy said? He was adamant that the boy was juiced up! When you consider that after the boys father left he lost a lot of mass too.....

Htf can you give steroids to your child?

are u saying u were on straight for a few years? or that u cycled them for a few years? and out of interest, what do u consider to be relatively low levels?

cycled for a few years, low levels compared to others i knew and certainly low compared to pro bb's. my levels were all set by a sports science genius i knew who more about the stuff than anyone i have ever met before or after........i felt safer in his hands than at the GP's

most everyone is (should be) taking in considerably less than the pros. certainly in pro/semi-pro powerlifting, a gram of test per *day* is considered mild/normal and thats year-round for many.

the general census:
0-250mg/week total juice = waste of time
250-500mg/week total juice = mild
500mg-1000mg/week total juice = moderate
1000mg-2000mg/week total juice = high
2000mg+/week total juice = very high / dangerous

si's dose is pretty much perfect for a first timer. you're right about 4-8 weeks being pointless with what you're running, as you're using enanthate. but in 2-3 years time, try 8 weeks on high dose test prop ED and trenbolone ED (home brew of course ) and then tell me that 8 weeks is pointless thats *the* stack to use

yeah.. its scary how little GPs know about this stuff. its much worse in the uk than the states, but is still bad in both. i know of guys who are actually afraid to get the blood levels checked incase it stays on their permanent record... so they dont bother

this is a main reason steroids are abused - there isnt enough readily available information. gps wont advise on dosages (accurately if at all), and as such, younger guys are running silly doses just because thats what their buddy told them thats what arnie/ronnie/jay runs. reality is, you can get huge gains on very moderate doses.

i think the bodybuilding/powerlifting community is (in general) *decades* ahead of 90%+ doctors on steroid knowledge. mainly because we've been experimenting on our own bodies due to the absense of studies. i mean, it took doctors *years* to even admit that steroids work.

good luck recovering from 12 weeks of tren should you run it that long

chances are you'll lose all your gains and then some.

that sounds like gyno - and it would be around his nipples, not all over his body. and no, it doesnt just disappear. once you've got gyno (and haven't caught it with nolva in time), surgery is the only option.

it was his mistake abusing the drugs and not running anti-estrogens which would have prevented the gyno in the first place.
