Default Best place to buy 0845 numbers?

I'm looking to buy a couple of 0845 numbers for our company. Has anyone had any experience with any companies that they could recommend to me?

Try Barry at www.linctel.com - £99p.a, you can have some influence over what number you get and you have a really useful web based system that allows you to change where your calls get directed. Good service, my companies have used them for about 4 years.

Hiya,

I have my own telecom's company which provides numbers such as 0845/080/087 etc. Feel free to give me a call - 07971 350 987. I can connect you up with 0845 numbers within 1 working day.

Depending on your minutes you may be able to get a revenue share in place

Hi Simon,

you got your own setup or you work for a telecom's company ? We're always on the lookout for other network partners etc.

Without wishing to hijack David Hills original post, do any of you guys (SyHighTower etc.) know if it's possible to forward one of your 0845 numbers to either a mobile or an overseas (Spanish) number?

I can't do that with my current Telco provider (0845 number) and I'm in the process of trying to relocate to Spain but need to keep a U.K telecoms and web prescence...

Ta.

Watch some of the companies that give you 0845 or 0870 numbers for 'free'. IME if you want to change the re-direct number some will not respond at all and others charge you a fat whack to do so.

Hi Russboy !

Won't be possible to forward your 0845 number to a spanish or mobile number as it'll mean you paying out of your own pocket for the final leg of the call. This is because the revenue the operator receives from a call to their 0845 number is very small and doesn't cover this.

Dependant on the operator and if they're willing - you can still forward your 0845 to your mobile or abroad if you're prepared to pay the different, normally about 15p to a mobile. You can cheat and forward to your landline and then forward that to your Spanish number or mobile. It's a dirty way of doing things tho

I can provide you 0845 numbers etc. for no ongoing costs at all - just drop me an email or call.

Hope I've been of help,

Jai

SyHighTower - TBH not a great fan of Caudwell altho you can't help but respect their phenomenal growth lately. Don't mean to knock them but have had bad experiences of a few companies within their group

As a side issue:
Don't pay anything for 0845 numbers etc. - they're completely free ! You can opt to have additional features such as timed divert etc. and a few other clever bits of routing but even then this is provided free in most cases.

nutta, not a problem mate, unfortunatly with any sales companys you will always get some wideboy employes who are just *****.
me - im a permenantly employed sales rep selling cps and ngns. doing quite well, ive held my place in the top 10 performers in the country for 3 months running out of 200 odd reps (mind you it could be the fact i put in about 70 hour weeks in).

The company in the group i work for (caudwell communications) is doing extreamly well, and as you say its growing fast, infact it is now suposed to be the biggest cps provider in the UK, and still has a customer retention rate of 98.7%. John caudwell who owns the lot is putting silly amounts of money into customer support and care/ aftersales care, to keep this up.

anyhoo enough of that, ive promised the wife not to think about work this weekend lol.

all the best

SyHighTower,

know what you mean mate !

Congratulations on the rankings ! You not one of the Caudwell millionaires ?

Once my telco company grows I'll see if I can poach you - I'm sure you won't need to do as much work We do pretty much the same but as we're smaller we can concentrate on the newer technologies with more ease etc.

I didn't realise your HomeCall service was that much of a hit - it does annoy me when I see those idiots standing outside of Phones4U giving away 'free' DECT phones in exchange for signing up !

I'll stop discussing work, especially if the Mrs' will be giving you an ear bashing !!
