OMG!!!!!!!!!!! They totally ruined that house and the new look is horrible! They simply have to have screwed the value of it!!! If they had done it in the art-deco style and more neutral it would have been far nicer, appeal to a wider audience, cheaper and worth more. I simply cannot believe how wild she went with her own 'tastes'

No survey.
No Architect.
No contingency.
The flat roof was cream crackered (surprise!).
And all done on credit.
Not a brain cell between them.
They got what they deserved. They should make some 'lucky' men wonderful wives one day.... not.

My two penny worth, knowing the area I reckon that daddy bought the house and supplied the money, only they made up the story for the tele, I somehow got the feeling that the daft one actually thought that she might have some sort of future in 'design' hence daddy stumping up the cash, they were both quite atractive, but my god you'd have to be desperate, not a brain cell between them!!
Might drive past next week just to see if it's still for sale!!

dpd, good thinking. "Look girls, I'll buy it for the money you need to break even but you're both going to be bouncing up and down in every room for the next month - Let know"

We couldn't believe what we were watching.... what a mess she made of it and how they chucked the money about ! We agreed that coming home pi$$ed one night, you'd never find the evidence next morning in that downstairs loo, either on the walls or anywhere else.
PS wonder what Sarah had ? Boy or Girl?

But I did think the sister (with less make up) did have some sense and could probably do better on her own.
I was somewhat surprised at how those builders agreed to work for them with no plans. They probably knew they were going to be on telly as well!

Don't know whether the schedulers planned it that way, but the contrast between those airhead sisters blowing the trust fund, and the couple that followed them on Grand Designs couldn't have been greater.

So thats what happened then! i watched most of it with the volume down as people kept phoning but the sisters were fit. The one looking after the budget was the better of the two and as long as you never gave her a credit card would probably be fun

PS, did you notice that she got her own way with the toilet and bathroom fixtures in the end

How to spoil what could've been a very nice house:
1) Take 2 equally attractive female wannabe designers
2) A chunk of mummy and daddy's money
3) One slightly knackered art deco house (but in the hands of the right person a real winner)
4) Throw in a LARGE portion of flower / hippy power
5) Remove the brain cells........
And what do you get?
An improved number (3) but now it's got a personality disorder and wayyyyyy too much pink
PS. I lurve Sarah B, she could do up a house for me anytime
