not much came up under the search - I mean York in Yorkshire not USA so any other peeps know any please feel free to give out the info - aslo whats worth seeing, doing, eating, drinking etc

The travelodge in the centre was ok, but the bathroom facilites were a bit naff - although you don't go for a weekend awy to sit inside do you?
The adjacent parking for the scoob was a bit overpriced - £10 a day (although it was secure overnight)
try allhotels.com - you can do a search for places by arrival date and it only shows those wth vacancies which saves a bit hunting around - although I'd phone direct once you've found somewhere so you don't end up paying their referal fee.

Premier Inn in the centre - superb - close to the railway station - its own bar and resteraunt and a 2 min walk to the shops etc...
Stayed there in April - 6 foot wide beds - well kitted out rooms - free car park with a little wooden barrier - city wall view from ya bedroom winda - Ave it!
