Anyone been to Dubai?
Going to Dubai tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what not to miss?
Shopping, Going out, activities, etc?
Staying in the Bulj al Arab for 3 nights then Jumeirah beach hotel for 6 nights and flying out tomorrow afternoon
I'm 24 if that makes a difference by the way

I've been to Dubai loads of times and it rocks!!
Go to the gold souks as gold is worth about 5-6 times in the UK. I brought about £190 worth of gold items there and had it valued in the uk at £1050. Not a bad return!!
There are loads of bars and a fantastic water park next to your hotel called the "Wild Wadi". You will love Dubai, its great!!!

Well, been here for a couple of days and managed to do a bit of scuba diving (awesome!), lying about topping up the tan, getting drunk and went to that water park you speak of Craig...mighty impressive!
Not quite as impressive as the hotel right enough!
Anyone recommend any night clubs/spots to go too as that is something the place seems to be lacking in IMHO

Dubai is getting pretty wild these days compared to when I lived there in the 80's!!
