law of Nill Bank of Nigeria PLC stipulates that if such fund remained
unclaimed
after a period of (7)seven years, it will be transferred into the bank
treasury
as unclaimed bill.

On this discovery sir, I and two other senior staffs now decided to do

with you and release the money to you as the next of kin to Mr. Ali B.
Ashraf
for safety and subsequent disbursement. I will soon proceed for my
retirement
leave this year, and I personally do not want this fund to be
transferred
into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.

That is why I wanted the fund to be move out of the bank before I
proceed
on my retirement from the banking services by December 15th 2004.

I always reply to these people, asking for more or less irrelevant details.

One guy for example emailed me saying the deceased customer was Swedish, so I replied I couldnt possibly be a "next of kin" to him, being from elsewhere. He ignored that, I insisted. They will send you pictures of themselves, fake (hilariously fake!) passport scans and what not. But I get bored after a while of getting paragraphs and paragraphs of BS, so I usually just forget about it. Could be fun taking it all the way and putting it up on one of those web sites, though
