Going to Spa next week for F1 race. Has anyone been b4? Can you give me any pointers on where to stand etc.
Eau Rouge would be nice but we're in the cheap seats - BRONZE
Went to Nurburgring F1 last year and that was top.

Great atmosphere, great location.

You can see Eau Rouge from the bottom where the displays are.

I have been before, some years ago and wasn't in seats! Just had a general admission ticket, and sat on the side of the hill over looking the bus stop.

The best feature is the Chips and Mayonassise!

yup I`m going with a few of my mates, we`re sitting in Eau Rouge and will be there for the three days - can`t wait!
On the Monday we`re off the the Nurburgring for a bit of action on the Nordschleife as it`s open all Monday. Anyone else going?

Yep Ive been and sat at the bottom of Eau Rouge, fantastic

Worst part was the constant smell of S**t & P**s under our grandstand as there wasnt any toilets nearby that after fridays practise resembled anything like toilets

Oh and watch out for the Belgians throwing empty cans of beer (or part empty !!!)

We did the track invasion after the race too which was cool


Get your beer from the local Spa Supermarket its dirt cheap, and good stuff too

Went in 2001.

Fecking superb.

Stayed in a really nice house 20min drive away with some fellow Mclaren fans.
Turned out that the women staying with us had shagged half the Mclaren pit crew and were trying to make there way up to the drivers!
During the friday one of them -who was a native Finn living in England- bumped into a Finnish family in the paddock, she invited them to share the spare rooms in our house -which was nearer to the track than there hotel. This family turned out to be Kimi Raikkonnens mother, father and uncle.
When I was first told who they were I thought "yeah right, boll0cks", but after giving me loads of signed sauber stuff (Remember Kimi was driving for them then), I believed them!!!

Top weekend though.
We watched the race from the bus stop. Saw Button crash (PMSL), and Barrichello rip off his front wing (EVEN MORE pmsl). Unbelievable atmosphere.

To be honest I'd really like to be going this weekend. Even though F1's got ****.

Going in me Dads Mazda 626!!!! reg G40UND [He owns a few greyhounds] Went to Nurburgring last year in my Scoob and it was top, especially when 'Monster' barged Schuey off, oh boy did the Dutch Verstappen fan club love that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
