It is right at the airport (beside the long term parking for Terminals 1 & 3, I think).

Call them and ask.
I've had a look for location maps and can see why you're not sure where it is. Click on "map" from this link and get confused! There is no hotel, never mind a Crowne Plaza, at that location. Crowne Plaza is definitely within the airport perimiter and is within walking distance of Terminals 1 & 3 if your luggage isn't too heavy or is on wheels.

Yes. T2 is a good bit away from T1 & T3. You're looking at at least 0.5 miles, if not more by the time you go round the one-way system.
Brainwave! If you're in a hotel within walking distance of T1 or T3, just walk over to the nearest terminal. Pick up a luggage trolley and there are moving walkways to take you to T2. Experienced this about 3 weeks ago when I'd flown out to Dublin on Ryanair and left the car at T2 Long Term, but the only flight back at a suitable time was Aer Lingus who don't use T2. Came back to T1(?), picked up the luggage and did the moving walkway bit - about 10 minutes IIRC.
