I had no idea his parents are from from Romania but came here because "They saw Britain as a beacon in a dark and threatening world."
I'm sure after winning the next election Michael Hecht (his real name) will demonstrate great sympathy to similar people arriving here because they see "Britain as a beacon in a dark and threatening world".
Or will he?...And for that matter should he, infact, go back to where his parents came from? Repatriated as it were?
