Well, what do they expect????
It is interfering with equipment of HM Goverment
Would you be happy if your local drunk driver was using some device which allowed them to give a sample which passed?

Why did the police say she was PtCoJ? Did they have a jammer detector at the time? If not, then on what grounds was the arrest (no evidence!)?
Surely they can't start inspecting the car without a warrant?
The GF has been arrested, but not convicted - and it seems as though the police haven't actually got a clue how to handle this situation!
The fact that the GF was unaware of the jammer, thus could not have been intentionally PtCoJ, puts an interesting slant on things.
Should be an interesting story to unfold.

To be tried for perverting the course, don't they need proof of the crime you were trying to avoid ? As they won't have a record of the offence of speeding how can she be tried for trying to avoid a crime that to all intents and purposes may never have happened ?

The CPS tried to prosecute a guy on this a couple of years back, but in the end they cautioned him because they knew they could'nt make it stick.
If you obtain a warning from a detector and slow down, are'nt you doing the same thing as above? I suspect they will put the frightners on her and then issue a caution.
1. They have to prove she was speeding
2. They have to prove she deliberatley chose to switch the device on(if it starts with the ignition they can't)
3. They have to prove it was the jammer that caused the gun not to get a reading(laser guns can fail to give reading for all sorts of things)
4. They have to prove the primary function of the device is to jam laser guns.
5. They have to prove that she slowed down because of the warning from jammer and not her seeing the trap.
They could theoretically do her for 'obstructing a police officer', but again that ha flaws.
1. If it's a civllian operator, are they 'a police officer'?
2. If I store a speedtrap location in my GPS satnav, I am 'in theory' obstructing a police officer, because I know where the trap is and take avoiding action.
If they do her for anything it'll be the above, subject to the flaws outlined below.

Question
Is it possible to "tune" an LRC100 to the frequency of an electric garage door? e.g. If one has an LRC100 fitted, could he buy an electric garage door that opens with this kit? Perhaps tune the door opening mechanism to the LRC100?
Anyone?
