Does anyone know the exact differences between these 2 units? The Origin site (http://www.originblueidirect.co.uk/index.htm) doesn't include the solo in their comparison table. With the upcoming legislation, I don't want laser detection, but definately want a connection to open my garage door. For location, I'd like to fit it on the right of my dashboard, near the A pillar.

Any recommendations please?

Thanks, but they are both the B2. The B2 solo has an integral aerial, but I don't know what else if different.

Go for the solo if you want it mounted on the dash, or the b2 if you want it mounted somewhere more discreet, like in the ashtray or something. Normal B2 gives you more flexability.

Thanks, do they both have the same software features & same sized screen? Also does the Solo take the garage door opener unit?

Nick, they both have exactly the same spec. They both take the LRC 100 (garage door opener ) The only difference is the solo has the fixed GPS antenna which limits where you can mount it but means it's easily swapped from car to car.

I've got pics but can't get them to you til I get back from holiday which will be 21st Aug.
We should be getting our first delivery of the LRC 400 w/c 23rd Aug.
A group buy will definitely be organised as soon as the price has been confirmed.

I'm definately interested, but undecided between the B2 & B2 solo. I'll look forward to the pics when you can post them. Any advice about fitting the LRC 400 on a MY04 Scoob would be welcome.
